Out With The Old







Well with the addition of a new horse to my stable I sadly am saying goodbye to my 1981 Yamaha maxim 650. Its been a blast riding and has turned many a head (dude head sadly). Anyway its for sale so here is the details and hopefully you guys can pass this along.

1981 Yamaha Maxim 650 Bobber 10,3** miles



Frame chopped and fenders removed to bob the motorcycle. Custom rear to front end wheel conversion (now runs a 130 series tire in the front on a 16 inch rear wheel). Tc bros dragbars and forward controls (not pictured). Detroit bros custom license plate frame mount with LED rear brake light. Lowered 4" with Burly Sportster lowering coilovers. New bar end mirrors. Mac 4 to 1 exhaust wrapped with black header tape. New tires and brakes have less than 1000 miles on them. Custom Black leather West eagle solo seat. Fuse panel updated to modern glow when the blow automotive style fuses.

  2. The rear to front conversion is done with a cnc'd adapter I got from a guy on XJbikes.com ( http://xjbikes.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=28731/postdays=0/postorder=asc/start=0.html ). You need to machine the rear wheel you choose.
